Hand wash, soap & water, scouring pad. Dry, coat with mineral or coconut oil, wait 10 mins. Buff excess oil. Wood kills bacteria, safer than plastic. U. of Wisconsin study: 99.9% bacteria on wood died in 3 mins, none on plastic.
